The Transition: Postpartum Doula & Somatic Care
Foundational support for the birthing person and the household, elevated by somatic healing
Foundational Doula Care
Every mother deserves a deeply supported transition. As your Postpartum Doula, my mission is to ensure you are never neglected, but instead centered, celebrated and sustained. I support you with:
Health system navigation
Home & Household Easing
Infant & Sibling Care
Community Resource Bridges
If you have MassHealth these services are 100% covered by your insurance. No out of pocket cost.
****MassHealth Coverage & Subsidized Somatic Touch For expecting and birthing families, foundational postpartum doula care is fully covered through MassHealth. Because premium somatic bodywork is not covered by insurance, I offer a heavily subsidized sliding scale of $25 to $75 for my MassHealth clients who wish to add these premium services (such as the Lactation Letdown Experience or Household Integration) to their foundational care.
Premium Somatic Add-On Bundles
A specialized session using non-demanding touch to lower cortisol and boost the oxytocin necessary for a smooth letdown reflex, featuring positional bodywork and nursing-safe aromatherapy.
****Scope of Practice Note: I am a somatic practitioner, not a clinical lactation consultant (IBCLC). This session focuses entirely on somatic bodywork and nervous system regulation to ease physical tension and encourage natural letdown. For clinical feeding assessments, latch support, or pain, I will gladly refer you to a trusted IBCLC within my community network.
A hands-on training for your partner/support system in your home. I teach them the mechanics of the postpartum body and how to safely provide nervous system regulation so they can hold space for you when I am not there.
A guided, hands-on session focusing on the baby's developing nervous system. I will teach you gentle massage techniques to soothe your infant, promote deeper infant sleep, and foster profound bonding. Because when the baby's nervous system is regulated, the mother can finally rest.
